POSITION SUMMARY
The FOH Team Member is responsible for providing exceptional dining experiences for guests through warm, intuitive, and personalized service. They must be able to tailor their service style and show a genuine sense of graciousness and hospitality to guests. They will perform a variety of duties in various FOH areas such as, but not limited to, Bartending, Serving, Food Running, Hosting, etc.

- Greet guests, take reservations and take them through the entire flow of service
- Take and perform special requests.
- Accurately take food and drink orders.
- Accurately record and account for all items ordered, process payments, and balance all sales/receipts in compliance with restaurant policies and procedures.
- Always recommend specials, meals, appetizers, and/or beverages to the guests in an up-selling manner and answers any questions.
- Prepare and serve beverages to guests according to recipes.
- Make a constant effort to tailor service and add personalization and continuously monitor guests to fulfill additional requests.
- Recognize intoxicated guest, refuse to over-serve guests and seek out management with any concerns about a guest that appears intoxicated
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of menu items.
- Articulately describe all menu items, including daily additions to the menu
- Promptly deliver food and items ordered by guests without delay and in a highly presentable manner according to table and position number.
- Check each order for any special instructions and/or restrictions before delivering orders to the guest.
- Be fully aware of service flow in the dining area.
- Pull and arrange tables and chairs for guests when necessary.
- Carefully watch tables and fill water glasses and other drinks as appropriate.
- Provide friendly, gracious, and responsive service to create a memorable dining experience for guests
- Clean and reset tables and transport dirty dishes to dish room
- Performing cleaning side work as assigned.
- Assist in any areas of the restaurant as business needs require.
- Account for and maintain the security of all bar stock and inventory.
- Stock/restock appropriate areas of the bar with alcohol, glassware, ice. and supplies
- Assist in training new staff.
- Participate in daily service meetings.
- Communicate any difficulties, guest comments, and other relevant information to your manager.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Must have and be able to do the following:
- At least 18 years of age.
- A high school education or equivalent.
- Minimum of three years of upscale casual or fine dining experienced preferred.
- Able to perform server and bus person’s duties.
- Read, write, speak, and understand English comprehensively.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- A valid food safety and TIPS certification.
