A Team member is responsible for providing exceptional guest service, preparing fresh food and ensuring the restaurant is friendly and comfortable.
Team members must work as a team to ensure the restaurant runs efficiently and guests needs are always met.ResponsibilitiesGreet guests to make them feel comfortable and welcomeTake guests’ food orders and handle cash and credit transactionsFollow Noodles & Company’s operational policies and procedures, including those for cash handling and safety/security to ensure the safety of all team members during each shiftDemonstrate knowledge of the brand and menu itemsServe food to guests in a courteous and timely mannerQuickly and accurately prepare food items including prep, noodles, salads, soups, sandwichesCheck Food quality and food temperatures throughout the day to ensure that food is fresh and safe to serveFollow sanitation and safety procedures including knife handling and kitchen equipmentMaintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant and ensures proper set up and/or breakdown of the entire restaurant including dining room, restrooms, kitchen and prep areasEffectively handle guest concerns and complaintsWork as a team to prepare the restaurant for each shiftActs with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promotes the culture of Noodles & CompanyMaintains regular and consistent attendance and punctualityContributes to a positive team environmentKnowledge/Skills/RequirementsExcellent guest service skills requiredAbility to work in a fast paced environmentTeam oriented, adaptable, dependable, and strong work ethicAbility to communicate effectively with guests and team membersAbility to work nights, weekends and holidaysMust be at least 16 years of ageExperiencePrevious restaurant experience preferred
