the girl & the fig CATERS! in Sonoma is currently seeking an experienced Pastry Chef to join our team.

We are a restaurant group with multiple locations in the Sonoma Valley, which includes the girl & the fig in Sonoma, the fig café in Glen Ellen, the girl & the fig CATERS!, Suite D, and our FIGfood product line. We strive to use the best in local, sustainable food, and we continually develop many in-house programs to promote those ideals. A Typical Day for Chef Includes…

…overseeing production for restaurant locations, including desserts, ice cream, and breads

…overseeing production and decoration of custom cake orders

…preparation and decoration of a variety of goods, such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread, etc

…development of customized cakes and baked goods for weddings and special events

We Are Looking for Candidates Who Have…

…the ability to provide or complete Manager Food Handler certification and renew as necessary

…a valid California drivers license and approval as an insured company driver

This is a full-time position. Annual salary range is $65k to $80k DOE + benefits.
