You drive it.Position Summary:The OTG Cook I prepares all menu items for the restaurants according to OTG specifications.
All items must be prepared in a timely manner while maintaining the safety, sanitation, and security of the kitchen and equipment.Responsibilities:Work in OTG’s prep kitchens and/or the line of one of OTG’s fast casual conceptsSupports the BOH by prepping many of the ingredientsPrepares food to the correct doneness, portion sizing and plating with identical contents and appearance for consistent presentation according to OTG specificationsResponsible for controlling the quality of all food items prepared to OTG specifications and restaurant directionsMaintain organization, cleanliness, and sanitation of work areas and equipmentKnowledge of operating all kitchen equipment (i.E.
stoves, ovens, broilers, slicers, steamers, kettles, etc.)Ensure uniforms are clean and professionalDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with others and work toward the goal of customer satisfactionQualifications and Requirements:Must be fully conversational in English1 to 2 years culinary experience in a fast pace restaurant (demonstrating entry-level cooking skills), including experience quick serve, grilling, frying, etc.Must successfully obtain ServSafe Certification or equivalentKnowledge of cooking procedures, safety and sanitationAble to lift 35 lbs.
