Agnes Hiring: Night Cook$18 per hour depending on experienceLocation: Houston, TXShift: Tuesday
– Sunday Job Description: Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.Ensures food is stored and cooked at correct temperature by regulating temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters.Ensures freshness of food and ingredients by checking for quality, keeping track of old and new items, and rotating stock.Seasons and cooks food according to recipes.Maintains a clean, safe, and sanitary work area.Washes, peels, cuts, and seeds fruits and vegetables to prepare them for consumption.Carves and trims meats for hot or cold service.Handles, stores, and rotates all products properly.Closes the kitchen properly and follows the closing checklist for kitchen stations.Performs other related duties as assigned by the Kitchen Manager or manager-on-duty.
Job Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of experience in kitchen preparation and cooking.Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.Must be authorized to work in the USA.Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of timeMust have good hygiene and grooming habits.Ability to work in a team environmentAbility to work calmly and effectively under pressureCommitment to quality service, and thorough food knowledgeUnderstanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling proceduresMust have open availability (AM & PM) and be able to work on weekdays, weekends, & holidaysFood Handler’s Card For Immediate consideration please send your resume to
