MGM Resorts International: Nightlife Bartender – Felt

Location:National Harbor, Maryland PRIMARY PURPOSE: As a Model Bartender TD, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks while maintaining the cleanliness of the bar.

You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service.

By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience to create WOW memories they will carry with them far and beyond their stay with us.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Make and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, proportioning ingredients according to standardized recipes and provide food service as neededMaintain complete knowledge of menu items, liquor brands, beers and non-alcoholic selections availableMaintain bar inventory according to set pars and internal controls, and request product to maintain stock in barRing beverages that are poured or served, collect payment, and follow all cash handling and variance procedures, including preparing daily reports and submitting appropriate paperworkProvide apprentice bartender and bar porter with training and mentoring on overall function of the bar, guest service, and bartendingClean equipment, tools, and supplies and ensure equipment is in good working order, including cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of the barParticipate in modeling, presentations and promotions programs throughout the casino and resort if applicableResolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusal events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theftPerform other job-related duties as requested
