Heavy Duty Kitchen Cleaner

Located just east of downtown Kansas City, Ameristar Casino Hotel Kansas City is a Midwestern entertainment hub that offers something for everyone.  Ameristar has one of the largest casino floors in Missouri, amazing dining venues, a newly renovated luxury hotel and more.

Ameristar also offers convenient parking in a five-level, 2,660 space parking structure with an enclosed, climate-controlled walkway to the casino and entertainment center.  Ameristar is seeking a Heavy Duty Kitchen Cleaner.  The successful candidate will support the Facilities department with heavy duty cleaning of our restaurant kitchens, back of house and front of house areas in a 24/7 casino environment. 
Prepares ovens, sinks and other dirty restaurant equipment for cleaning.

Uses ice, water and cleaning solvent in the cleaning of restaurant kitchen equipment.

Empties trash in kitchens.

Cleans and wipes down tables and chairs.

Washes and scrubs kitchen floors.

Cleans food scraps from kitchen areas.

Mops, sweeps, strips, grinds and polishes marble floors.

Vacuums carpets.

Follows all required safety and standard operating procedures.

Asks supervisor or other employees for help when needed Must be physically able to lift, load and un-load materials Must be able to stand, bend and walk frequently Must be able to lift, carry and move materials or heavy objects up to 100+ lbs.

Must meet company and clients appearance standards.

Must be available to work some nights, weekends and holidays.

High School diploma or GED Ability to work with a variety of cleaning equipment and chemicals.

Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral and diagram form.

Highly organized and detail-oriented.

Smiles and is friendly when interacting with guests and team members.
