Family-owned cookie shop seeking baker’s assistant with potential to grow! Baking experience required.Candidates should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, work independently, be a team player and have a strong desire to make people happy with their end product. **Good energy is required! We are always incorporating new products and need someone wanting to grow in their expertise including cookies, royal icing and more.Listed below are examples of what this position will require:-Prepares cookie dough using 60 QT mixer-Maintains the cleanliness of workstation/kitchen area-Follows all sanitation guidelines ensuring fresh quality products-Operates and maintains kitchen equipment in a safe and efficient manner-Assists in the cleaning of equipment, tools, or dishes-Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs-Ability to work as part of a teamIdeal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, be self-motivated, punctual/dependable and have a positive attitude. You need to be comfortable with working on your own, following recipes, etc. Room for promotion within the company and a long term position.ServSafe® certificate/Food Manager preferred and will be required if hired. Must have reliable transportation.Position to start ASAP part time or full time. If you want full time, you’ll be shared with another pastry company.
