Job Description Food Expeditor & Cook This position supports our various quick service and formal dining food & beverage locations throughout PADONIA including The Grille, Chateau, The Cabana Bar & Windy Valley Farms by preparing fantastic dining experiences with an attention-to-detail and sense of urgency. Responsibilities Show strong attention-to-detail, organizational, retention and problem-solving skills even while working under a sense of urgency Call out orders to culinary team, check on the status of dishes, and help on the pass Maintain safe, clean and order in all cooking, prep, and food storage areas, keeping these areas neat, well organized, and stocked with ingredients. Inspect every plate to make sure the proper garnishes have been applied and that dishes are free of smudges and spills before being delivered to the customer. Make art Make sure all kitchen and waitstaff follow sanitation and training standards keeping themselves, their tools, and their work areas clean and presentable. Prepare standardized recipes in our kitchens for all food and beverage locations Communicate efficiently and work in a team-oriented environment to ensure smooth service operations Knowledge of HACCP, proper food handling techniques, temperatures and food safety including food allergies Possess proficiency in all stations of the line including grill, fry and cold, as well as skills with knives, tools and kitchen equipment Ability to develop daily preparation lists for anticipated business, monitor inventories and receive orders Maintain stock and execute proper rotation of all product General cleaning including, but not limited to, equipment, dishes, facilities, etc. Qualifications 3 years line cook experience required Excellent communication skills Excellent customer service skills Knowledge: Cutting tools (knives, slicers) Cooking implements (pots, pans, utensils) Restaurant software (POS programs) Industrial cooking machinery (ovens, stovetops, dishwashers) Lift 50 pounds and stand for an extended period of time Serve Safe Certification a plus Ability to multitask and maintain composure while managing multiple staff members, food orders, and kitchen duties Ability to pass background check Ability to work flexible shift/hours including weekday, evening & weekend hours, throughout the season. Ability to work overtime if needed. Must be able to work in outdoor conditions.
