Executive Chef

Captain Lawrence Brewing Co.

This is a Full-time position in Elmsford, NY posted July 30, 2021.

Captain Lawrence Brewing Co has been operating in Westchester for over 15 years distributing craft beer and welcoming people from all over the area to our Beer Hall and Brewery for pints, food and events!

We now run Beer Hall operations in both Elmsford and Mt Kisco in addition to a private event business that is roaring back to life post-Covid along with off site catering and opportunities for future growth.

We are crushing like never before!

We are in need of an Executive Chef to join our team and run our culinary operations.

The right person would be someone who is a strong leader, very organized and methodical and someone willing to hustle to get the job done.

Strong communication skills are imperative as is the ability to multi-task.

We are not looking for someone to make significant changes to our operation, there will be opportunities to show your skills but getting a handle on operations and showing leadership will be far more important.

In addition to regular Beer Hall service at both locations which includes a menu of apps, pizza, sandwiches and tacos we also have weekly takeout/delivery platters and a booming private event calendar.

Our operation is large with varied revenue streams to be on top of.

This position offers opportunity for growth as Captain Lawrence expands its footprint in Westchester and beyond.

We are looking for someone who can be a key component in the growth of the hospitality arm of our company.

Responsibilities will include:
Bringing energy and excitement to the kitchen every day and exhibiting stellar leadership abilities Executing consistent daily services Scheduling of sous chefs, cooks and kitchen staff Ongoing Staff development Ordering & Receiving Maintaining consistent food cost Communication with management and front of house staff Writing new menus and proposing new menu ideas Execution of private and large scale brewery events

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00
– $85,000.00 per year
