Maine Veterans’ Home is a mission-driven, not-for-profit organization, committed to exceptional service and personalized care.
We are hiring for our new state-of-the-art facility, opening soon.
MVH
– Augusta will be the first of its kind in Maine to deliver long-term care though the small house model.
This model is organized around offering residents a way to maximize normal living environments and routines, providing a sense of community and better quality of life.
The campus will consist of 4 villages, with two or four ‘houses’ per village, and each house will accommodate 10-15 residents.
A Community Center will provide residents with “destinations” similar to those in the communities where they once lived, including a chapel, Veteran’s lounge, ice cream parlor, movie theater, and much more!
Our Cooks are responsible for preparing two home-style meals (lunch and dinner), for 10-15 residents, in a warm and inviting home-like atmosphere.
Position details:
Full-time employment status, with full benefits, including paid time off
Four days, 36 hours per week
Includes every weekend
10am
– 6:30pm weekdays
8am
– 6:30pm weekends
