Cook

The Cook for the Stone Hearth Grille will be responsible for preparing attractive and properly prepared meal items according to specification, using recipes and production sheets. Day and Evening hours required working the following shifts: 10:30 am-7:00 pm, 11:30 am-8 pm, and 6:30 am-3 pm.

Specific duties include but are not limited to:

• Prepares daily menu items as needed, following proper food handling techniques using ServSafe standards.
• Maintains cooking equipment and performs daily cleaning duties.
• Offers excellent customer service and phone etiquette.
• Covers, labels, dates, and stores leftover items properly.

Qualifications:

• At least one year of prior cooking experience required; preferably in a restaurant or country club setting.
• Culinary arts degree and line cooking or ala carte experience preferred.
• ServSafe Certification and exhibition cooking or catering experience helpful.
