Chef, Senior Living Chef Specialist, Full Time ,

Highland House of Watertown and Watertown Regional Medical Center, has an opportunity for a Chef to work out of the Highland House Assisted Living.  The Chef is responsible for preparing soups, starches, vegetables, and entrees from scratch following standardized recipes while practicing safe food handling procedures.  Also responsible for serving food prepared in the proper portions while practicing safe food handling procedures.

Job Requirements:

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Three months to one year previous cooking experience in a health care field.

Basic reading and math skills
Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation procedures
Knowledge of safe food handling practices
Knowledge to provide assistance or care appropriate for the ages and developmental needs, of patients served.

License: Valid Wisconsin driver’s license. Must also meet additional criteria defined in our Driver Eligibility Policy.
