Must have 5 years experience as a restaurant chef. Clear understanding of food cost, labor cost, ordering, inventory control, scheduling. Must run an extremely clean kitchen, it is an expo kitchen. Must have strong organizational skills. Be able to manage the kitchen staff appropriately. This a working position, not a desk job. Must have a strong sauté skill set. If you’re line skills are rusty this position will not work. We are a fast paced busy restaurant. We cut no corners, everything is made in house. We’ve been voted the #1 restaurant in Idaho by two different sources and top 10% in the world by Tripadvisor. The owner is an executive chef and is on premise every day. Standards, practices and expectations are high. The business does not have employee housing, no medical benefits. We do pay a bonus every 6 months and a paid vacation once a year.
