Effective communication with your teammates. Ability to multitask. ID guests appropriately. Cash handling. General bar duties. As a bartender, you ensure consistent drink quality by preparing hand-crafted cocktail orders in a timely and professional manner and in accordance with recipes and guidelines established by the Food and Beverage department. You will also maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area in a fast-paced environment, while providing superior guest service. You are responsible for handling all foods, storage, and cleaning activities in accordance with sanitary procedures and standards, complying with all federal, state and local regulatory procedures. Work/Life Balance Opportunity for Advancement Competitive Wages Ongoing Training Half Priced Shift Meals Networking Requirements: Can obtain any necessary alcohol service licensing requirements Prior experience as a bartender preferred but not required Strong knowledge of alcohol mixology, drink menus and classic cocktail preparation preferred Ability to stand for an extended period of time Ability to effectively implement the three Cs: coordination, consolidation, and communication Ability to abide by all state, federal regulations and restaurant liquor policies Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent hospitality skills Accurate math and cash handling skills Possess written and verbal skills for effective communication with guests and coworkers Demonstrate good judgment, problem solving, and decision-making skills At Babalu, we believe FUN is Worth Sharing.
