– General Summary: The Bakery Baker is responsible mixing and measuring ingredients into dough in preparation for baking, monitor shrink within the department, ensure all orders are completed in accordance with production schedule; machinery is in good operating order.

Essential Job Functions: Mix and measure ingredients to form dough or batter for recipes, roll, cut, and shape dough to form rolls, pie crusts tarts, cookies, and related bakery products Cut, peel and prepare fruit for pie fillings, baking cakes, preparing icing Train assistants and maintaining cleanliness of the bakery Excellent customer service Maintaining records of customer orders Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: The incumbent must posses the knowledge, skills and abilities required for satisfactory performance.

Detail oriented, read and write English/Spanish, follow instructions, ability to multi-task use of knives, mixers, ovens, rolling pins, cutting tools and baking principles.

Personal Attributes: Integrity collaboration skills multi-task abilities detail oriented organizational skills Education and Experience: High School Diploma or GED, and basic kitchen skills, familiar with food preparation in bakery departments.

Physical Requirements Seeing: Must be able to see well enough to read reports (75-100% of the time) Hearing: Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors and employees (75-100% of the time) Standing/Walking: Must be able to move about department (75-100% of the time) Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling: Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up reports, papers.
