Position Summary: Established in 1981, Ability360 is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization providing independent living services for persons with disabilities.
Ability360 provides a variety of services to ensure that students with disabilities make a successful transition to adulthood.
These services help students with disabilities train for employment, continue their education, or secure employment upon transition out of high school.
Program Service: Ability360 delivers high-quality Pre-Employment Transition Services (Pre-ETS) that include services, activities, and guidance in the following categories: Self-Advocacy, Workplace Readiness Training (Independent Living Skills), Counseling on Post-Secondary Education, Job Exploration, and Work-Based Learning.
Our team provides guidance, support, and career development opportunities to students with disabilities ages 14-22.
Individuals must be driven by a desire to improve outcomes for youth and young adults by working with youth one-on-one and in group settings providing instruction and support for participants to reach educational, employment, and independent living goals.
Position may require local travel by car, and work in and outside the office.
This is a full-time position.
Work schedule requires some flexibility and will include some evening and weekend work.
