Olive is improving healthcare operations today, so everyone can benefit from a healthier industry tomorrow.Job OverviewThe Vice President, Innovation Design (Clinical) is responsible for leading prospects, customers, and internal stakeholders through Olive’s automation journey related to clinical operations, clinical intelligence, population health, care management, patient engagement, etc.. They will lead executive-level design sessions for Olive customers and targets, and spend significant time in market-facing activities to communicate Olive’s point of view (POV) for automating functions that support the clinical delivery of healthcare. This role will help to oversee the team of specialists who bring market-leading solutions and innovation from the Olive platform to our customers. This executive will report to the Senior or Executive Vice President (EVP) Innovation Design. The VP of Innovation Design serves as a strategic member of our Provider Market senior leadership team and will be a leader on the path to win big deals.Success in this role hinges on strong communication skills and a drive for results. The VP of Innovation Design will need to have a strong understanding of Olive’s capabilities and be able to bring the full scope of Olive solutions (today’s and tomorrow’s) to meet our customers’ automation needs. This role will collaborate across Olive but, in particular, with our Sales, Product and Partner organizations.Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesDevelop content for and lead executive design sessions with Olive customers and targets. Elevate the design experience beyond a traditional opportunity assessment and help our customers to reimagine the work that they doCoordinate with external executives, guiding them through the design journey with a hands-on approachCollaborate with the entire Innovation Design team to co-author an enterprise automation journey with our customersEstablish credibility as an expert in automation design and solutioning, both internally and externallyAlign our customers’ current strategic initiatives and problem statements to Olive’s automation solutions to establish a credible and successful automation journey roadmap Coordinate customer design discussions and needs with our Product and Partnership teams to ensure consideration of current capacity, desired delivery dates, and both Olive and Partner product roadmapsCollaborate with Product and Partner teams to communicate customer needs and feedback and to advocate for our customers along their automation journeyMaintain significant business acumen related to Olive’s product library, understanding the value & vision of current product offerings, and work to incorporate the full catalogue into our customers’ automation journeyMaintain deep knowledge of the evolving market for automation solutions and be able to bring suggestions for new partnerships to internal and external stakeholdersHelp lead the Innovation Design team at Olive, whose purpose is to sell, allocate solutions to, and expand our relationships with new and existing customersRequirementsSuccessful track record of securing and expanding customer relationships10+ years in healthcare solution services, designing innovative programs focused in clinically and patient focused areas of healthcare; ideally, focused in product implementation and design leadershipThe successful candidate will exhibit a breadth of domain expertise in the processes, workflows, value drivers and IT systems typically used in clinical systems10+ years of increasing responsibilities in commercially focused and market-facing rolesClinical background and clinical leadership experience strongly preferredExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus buildingArticulate, assertive, and persuasive with the ability to adapt communication style and approach to a variety of audiencesBachelor’s degree in Business Management, or related field or equivalent professional experienceDemonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving skills, including balancing multiple priorities and deadlinesStrong empathy for customers and passion for revenue and growthProven design thinking background & program implementationDemonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvementEnthusiastic and creative leader with the ability to inspire others; prior experience leading, managing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholdersAbility to work collaboratively and be resourceful when confronted with ambiguityAbility to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and lead others in the sameAbility to travel up to 50%At Olive, we’re committed to growing and empowering an inclusive community within our company and industry.
