Our client is looking for a Sandblaster to join their team in St.
Albans .
Sandblaster Duties:
Operate sandblast machine to remove paint, rust, corrosion, etc.
from various
forms of metal while wearing protective clothing.
Responsible for shoveling or pouring sand, grit, or other abrasive material into the machine, and monitoring and maintaining an adequate supply of the abrasive in the hopper.
Keep sandblast area organized.
Communicate with team members when jobs are complete and ready for the next step.
Track blast times for office use.
Skills, and Abilities Required:
Ability to read and write
Stand for long periods of time
Good eye-hand coordination
Lift 100lbs
Reliable transportation
Willing to become forklift certified if not already.
Positive attitude is a must

– $20.00 an hour
