& Family Initiative Leader VISTAThe Winnebago Tribe’s goal is to provide opportunities for parents & children to realize their potential & break the cycle of poverty by increasing the understanding of the Tribe’s culture & heritage.
VISTAs will: move people out of poverty by creating cultural material addressing educational inequalities, financial disparities, & financial literacy.
Partner with programs who increase academic engagement, attendance & job training for parents/guardians/students, capacity development.
Achieve project goals by developing volunteer programming & facilitating Project BLUE collaboration meetings.
Create partnerships, activities newsletter, volunteer tracking system, grants funding, & charitable contributions to support collaborative efforts.
Further help on this page can be found by clicking here.Member Duties : The VISTA leader will assist a team of six VISTA members assigned to various initiative with the Winnebago Tribe.
The VISTA leader will assist in the following: 1)Recruitment of members; 2)Provide ongoing support and professional development to the VISTA team; 3)Building capacity for projects that VISTAs implement; 4)Coordinate VISTA related activities, including key community projects as needed.
