Staffmark is looking for MIG Welders who are seeking full-time employment with a well established, local company in the Moody / Leeds area. Basic welding experience is a great start to qualifying for this opportunity, and there are more details below.
Operates MIG welding machine to join two or more pieces of metal to build merchandise display racks. Sets up machine loading the welding wire and adjusting to proper temperature. Loads parts in fixture and welds in place. Unloads welded part from fixture and performs visual quality inspection. Stacks welded parts onto skid or into basket for transport to next process. Maintains continuous count of parts produced utilizing written labor rate sheet and personal computer. Removes excess weld and blisters using air grinder.
