About the team:

The Gartner Research Board (GRB) is Gartner’s dedicated service for the senior-most technology and digital executive leaders and their functional direct reports from the largest and most complex end-user IT organizations globally. The roles we serve include: Global Chief CIO, Digital Officer, Technology Officer, Data & Analytics, Infrastructure & Operations, Enterprise Architects, Security & Risk, and Strategic Sourcing. The GRB is the only global peer advisory research service that both craft the mission-critical priorities (MCP’s) of these senior leaders organizations and identify and develop critical initiatives to handoff to their teams. This is achieved through a combination of shared community insight (members learning from each other’s experiences) and thought leadership from the Gartner analyst community, Gartner team solutions, as well as through external connections from our unique extended ecosystem of technology providers, academia, and investor relationships.

Program Directors work closely with these global leaders in the Gartner Research Board community on their top priorities, helping to bring together peer connections, insight from the Research Board’s dedicated research, and the wealth of capability across Gartner in support of members’ goals. Working collaboratively with the Research Board team and the broader Gartner eco-system, Program Directors are responsible for engaging and retaining Research Board members, and for supporting growth initiatives to develop and strengthen the Research Board community.

Job description:

  • Conduct monthly high impact consultations with members to assist in moving the member along the initiative journey. Curate and thoughtfully apply the right assets, content, and resources at the right time using a roadmap to address those obstacles.
  • Manage all member activities and communications in partnership with the Membership Director.
  • Responsible for forging and maintaining strong personal and commercial relationships with their board members and sales.
  • Collaborate with a team of Program Directors to drive a community focused on cyber/risk for the largest companies in the world
  • Collaborate extensively with the Research team on topic and report development; contribute to each research study drawing on industry experience and knowledge of the membership.
  • Plan and chair member meetings (include agenda development, external speaker recruiting and preparation, pre-meeting member communications, post-meeting communications and follow-up) with the supporting teams: events, communication and research.
  • Meet financial targets for member retention and new member acquisition
