Performance Team, now part of the Maersk global organization under a combined Warehousing & Distribution division, offers third party logistics services to over 500 customers.
Encompassing almost 15 million square feet of warehousing capacity throughout the country and a large transportation segment capturing a variety of services, PT has key supply chain hubs in the Los Angeles and New Jersey/New York areas, and other facilities along the Western & Eastern coasts along with multiple locations in the Midwest.
Performance Team has delivered significant sales and profitability growth over the last 8 years and will drive the Inland Logistics and Services business for the combined US business units for Maersk.

• Establish and maintain an applications roadmap in partnership with business leaders that is aligned with company strategy and incorporates corporate risk and compliance requirements.
• Defines and enhances methodologies and practices for application life cycle management in line with best practices.
• Develops productive relationships with business leaders across the organization to influence how applications can enable new sources of value.
• Develops and manages sourcing models based on in-house and 3rd party resources to meet expanding needs of the enterprise.
• Manages relationships with major vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective measures are utilized to meet the needs of the organization.
• Ensures that application teams are aligned with departmental development methodologies which are based on Agile/Scrum standards.
• Sponsors elaboration and discovery sessions on solution design, migration, and modern strategy to iteratively modernize legacy applications.
• Leads development of applications solutions with emphasis on reuse, scalability, security, performance and high availability.
• Ensures deployment of effective application support and incident response resources, processes and continuous measurement.
• Fosters a culture of fast paced innovation and adaptability.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, or other related field
• 15+ years of total experience in a corporate IT environment
• 7+ years of experience managing managers
• 10+ years of progressive IT management experience
• Experience leading software delivery teams using AGILE/SCRUM techniques
• Experience building high performing, innovative and engaged teams
• IT experience in the transportation or logistics industries
• Experience collaborating with organizational leaders to build out multi-year technical visions
• Experience in designing digital solutions across multi-platform and hybrid architectures, including on premise and cloud.
