Summary: We are seeking a creative and self-motivated individual to showcase their talents in this newly created position! The QTI Group is assisting our client, located on the eastside of Madison, in recruiting to hire a full-time Video Production Specialist. The selected candidate will join the marketing team and oversee the production and coordination of video content. This is a DIRECT HIRE opportunity and the 37.5 hours per week schedule is Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:30 am and 5:00 pm with a pay rate of $50k per year, based on experience. The ideal candidate is masterful at applying motion video to scripts and storyboards and has a strong discipline for detail, monitoring audience engagement and delivering consistent, world-class results.

Responsibilities:
Play the role of director on shoots, including camerawork, lighting, audio capture and sound design
Serve as a post-production editor for regular occurring video programs and educational videos sold on demand
Design and animate motion graphics for videos
Build interactive online courses from start to finish
Understand video codecs and specifications for multiple social media platforms and video sharing sites
Operate and maintain studio gear in a newly constructed video studio
Execute final production of videos for publishing to digital platforms
Collect creative requirements for projects and collaborate with internal resources to define and develop project schedules
Collaborate with the video team on scripting and production needs
Draft storyboards and acquire props, supporting footage and sound assets to deliver the intended message
Coordinate talent and secure locations for shoots and live events
Ensure videos meet company’s brand standards and are delivered on time and within budget
Oversee company’s Youtube channel and provide engagement analytics/metrics to stakeholders
Work in tandem with the marketing team to develop integrated marketing plans
Participate in the budgeting process for video operations and serve as an idea funnel for new media technology
Perform other projects and duties as business needs require
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in video production and 3 years of professional experience
Advanced knowledge of Vegas Pro, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe After Effects
Keen understanding of NLE workflow and online animators, such as Vyond (formerly Animaker)
CMS workflow experience or equivalent, a plus
Trade association or equivalent experience a plus, but not required
Specialized knowledge in video equipment, including cameras, lighting and sound gear
Ability to prepare and transfer footage for production and encode/render media for multiple platforms
Working knowledge of Youtube channel management and other video sharing websites
Experience in motion animation and keyframable effects
Ability to learn rapidly and adapt to new video technologies and techniques
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline oriented environment
Ability to collaborate on group-level strategies and participate in marketing discussions with internal teams
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve audio and video issues
Occasional travel to annual conventions and conferences to assist with onsite operations
