Seeking a Full Time Licensed/Registered/Certified Veterinary Technician for a well-established, high quality, multi-doctor small animal hospital in Great Falls, Montana. Our Technicians play an integral role in providing excellent medical care in our client driven practice. Candidates should possess skills in the following areas:
- Supporting veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care,advocate for pets,and educate clients
- Patient care – hospitalization, ICU, and isolation, fluid therapy
- Venipuncture, catheter placement and intubation
- Maintaining & monitoring anesthetized patients
- Surgical preparation and assistance
- Pharmacology and drug calculating
- In house laboratory and cytology
- Digital imaging and familiarity with ultrasound
- Emergency medical triage
- Oral ATP and dental radiography
- Experience with exotics
- Handling medical records
- Comfortable talking with clients
A caring and compassionate attitude is required and must be willing to guide, mentor, and support fellow team members. Sharing in our on-call schedule is required as we take emergencies 24/7.
