2nd Shift Material Handler As a Material Handler you will receive and move raw materials, parts and packing material to designated departments and locations.

May unload, count weigh and record incoming material in warehouse management system and report discrepancies to supervisor.

Perform incoming inspection procedures to select examine, and record condition of samples and notifies supervisor of substandard samples.

May handle empty skids, pallets, and stack or store as needed and supply production lines with materials and maintain work area clean.

This is a 2nd Shift position from 3:00 to 11:00pm or 2:00 to 10:00 pm, 5-6 days a week (Sunday is the start of the work week), may be required to work overtime and weekends as needed, and come in early or stay late depending on production demands.

Hours worked over 40 hours per week are paid at time and a half.

• Removes jumpers and aside, slide battery from layer board onto conveyor, aside hirise lumber, maintain efficient product flow, stack-off obvious rejects, remove process vents, thermal print decals to specifications, perform process and quality checks as specified, and replace process vents with finish vents.

• Service washer and dryer as necessary.

Polish terminals using appropriate head or wire brush and remove residue from cover.

• Operate manual hirater or Bitrode to test quality.

• Stack-off rejects to pallet.

Decorate batteries according to customer requirements, meeting customer satisfaction.

Must be able to retrieve specifications from computer terminal.

Maintain adequate decoration stock on line.

Shrink wrap batteries as required.

• Palletize batteries to customer requirements utilizing OPS procedures and equipment, maintaining accurate production counts and filling customer orders as completely as possible.

Use hand brander as needed.

• Clean, wipe, and repair post to battery as needed.

Keep work area clean and orderly, clean machines and area per shift, and perform regular preventive maintenance.
