Job Title: Vac Tech 1 (Vacuum Excavation Technician)

The Vac Tech 1 (Vacuum Excavation Technician is responsible for completing all customer excavation services safely, on time, accurately and to the customer’s satisfaction.

The Tech will take work-site direction from the Vac Tech 2 Operator and the client.

In addition to performing work for our clients, the Tech will perform some maintenance on the commercial vehicle and will ensure accuracy in all transactional documents.

Necessary skillset:
Must be able to communicate in English effectively both verbally and written.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to manage time effectively.

Must be self-motivated and willing to learn.
Must be able to do physical work, able to lift up to 50 pounds, in an outdoor setting in any weather condition.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Follow safety rules and regulations at all times.
Inspect job sites for safety concerns or hazards.
Assist the Operator with “spotting” of the vehicle and other safety needs.
Safely operate high pressure wands and vacuum excavation hoses for all excavation needs.
Ensure customer satisfaction with the work being performed.
Must be able to assist with maintaining all equipment, tools and electronics.
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
Able to travel and work extended hours as needed
Current/Valid driver’s license
Experience in construction, oilfield, or other jobs involving heavy labor
Ability to obtain a CDL driver’s license
Knowledge of DOT regulations

Pay $17.00 to $20.00 Straight Time/Hour
