Virtual Software: (i.e. VMware, Hyper-V) VMWare vSphere 6&7
Operating Systems: RHEL, ESXi, Proprietary software appliance provided by the backup vendors
Cluster Software: vSphere
Storage: (Vendor, Model) VMWare vSAN hyperconverged, Cohesity, Rubrik
Storage Management Tools: vRealize Suite, Cohesity/Rubrik Management Tools
CLI Scripting: (i.e. Python, Perl) Python & Ansible
SAN (protocols, SAN Switches) N/A
Cloud: Bank of America Private Cloud Only (VMWare)
Other: Enterprise storage, VMWare virtualization, Cohesity/Rubrik backup solutions, Dell EMC Data Protection Advisor, networking, technical documentation

REQUIRED TASKS:
Day-to-day activities
(Infrastructure Design Phase)
Storage platform administration:
Rack/stack hardware (if available onsite)
Assist with setup of VMWare clusters
Setup backup infrastructure
Integrate backup product with existing BofA management tools
Performance benchmarking
Perform necessary testing & validation
Assist with security review with BofA Global Information Security (GIS)
Storage management tools:
vRealize Suite, Cohesity/Rubrik Management Tools
Storage capacity planning:
Document the design and best practices for capacity planning team
Storage Performance and Capacity monitoring:
Help integrate the solution with existing backup monitoring and reporting tools
Veritas NetBackup engineering:
Test EEBs and document
Test new versions (to include appliances) and document

Dell EMC Avamar:
Test hotfixes and document
Test new versions (to include physical and virtual editions) and document

Dell EMC Data Domain:
Test hotfixes and document
Test new versions (to include physical and virtual editions) and document
