– 3:00PM until 11:00PMAs a Transcon Agent (Road Freight), you will be responsible to ensure timely and accurate movement of freight and information, while providing an exceptional customer service.You should also be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements as well as be involved and suggest system/process improvementsMajor Tasks & Responsibilities:Ensure smooth and timely freight process flowEnsure accurate and timely data entry into our operational systemTrack and Trace shipment files and reportingEnsure accurate and timely client and vendor billingEnsure delivery of freight and timely clearance when applicableInteract with customers in arranging their shipments to meet customers service standardsContribute and maintain good relationships with suppliersMeet compliance at all timesNetwork communications, timely responses to emails and requestsMeet KPI standards in accordance with Company policyUnderstand customers procedures and maintain updated internal DLSOPsExperience and Education:+ 2 years experience in Domestic Transportation preferred+ Computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point)+ Ability to work under pressure+ Ability to adapt to changes+ High level of attention to detail+ Strong organizational skills+ Strong written and verbal communication skills+ Process oriented+ A demonstrated ability to self-manage and motivate is critical.+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills+ Exemplify Expeditors’ unique culture and core valuesExpeditors offers excellent benefits:+ Paid Vacation, Holiday, Sick Time+ Health Plan: Medical, Prescription Drug, Dental and Vision+ Life and Long Term Disability Insurance+ 401(k) Retirement Savings Plan (US only)+ Employee Stock Purchase Plan+ Training and Personnel Development ProgramSalary: NegotiableRelocation expenses/support is not offered for this position.
