If that’s you, get ready to do Veeamazing things.The Technical Enablement Engineer for NetApp and Lenovo will be joining our Product Management, Alliances team in the USA or Canada with a focus on building mindshare with technical representatives at assigned alliance partners.

Supporting go to market initiatives as well as internal and partner sales organizations as a subject matter expert is a key part of this role.

The Technical Enablement Engineer is a key player in executing Veeam’s strategies with the alliance partner and leverages technical contacts made through technical enablement sessions to directly assist in driving revenue.

Serves as the technical subject matter expert (SME) and technical point of contact for partnership offerings; including but not limited to knowing the partner’s portfolio and go to market strategies to transfer that knowledge to both internal and external technical sales teams.

Demonstrates technical proficiency and product knowledge in order to discuss how features and functionality provide value and solve business challenges.

Owns with the assistance of internal and external alliance teams, presentations to be used for enablement sessions.

Work with product and alliance management on feature enhancements and user/alliance requests related to Veeam products.

Performs benchmarking, new hardware validation, and integration testing between Veeam and the alliance products.

Prepares and delivers technical updates that align with Veeam sponsor, partner executives, and Veeam internal teams in quarterly business reviews (QBRs).

Maintains a recurring cadence with key alliance stakeholders in sales and marketing with the purpose of remaining top of mind, transferring knowledge, and establishing a channel for further business development Assists Veeam and alliance partner field teams in enterprise opportunities across all GEOs when requested, or when there is a clear need based on observed alliance partner pipeline Ability to travel % Demonstrated solution sales and/or technical presales experience with Cisco and Pure Storage.

Expert-level experience in storage technologies.

Deep architecture knowledge for VMware virtualization technologies.

Deep architecture knowledge of data protection technologies.

Demonstrated experience working with product managers, alliance teams, sales teams of companies typical of Veeam partnerships.

Able to work collaboratively within a team as well as independently with direction in a fast-paced environment.
