Position Summary:
Under the direction of the Maintenance Manager or Group Leader, ensures preventative and predictive maintenance systems are correctly followed in order to: effectively operate Hyundai Transys Georgia Powertrain (HTGP) equipment, efficiently operate building systems, and preserve the condition of the equipment and building in proper functioning order.

Technical:
- Direct multiple Team Members and their respective zones
- Ensure Team Members perform to company policies and procedures
- Build and maintain good working relationships with Team Members and management
- Direct and oversee outside contractors performing maintenance or equipment modifications.
- Creates PM schedules for all HTGP equipment
- Creates and issues PM work orders based on manufacturer recommendations
- Tracks and reports PM activity
- Ensures PM Work Orders are completed on time
- Documents, evaluates and improves maintenance objectives
- Meet safety, quality, cost, and productivity targets for a production area.
- Work toward the elimination of all production downtime related to equipment operation
- Comply with all environmental regulations.
- Meet or exceed all customer requirements with excellent service and quick resolution of customer needs.
- Maintain plant facilities and equipment in good working order with the timely completion of repairs if failures occur. Assure adequate spare/repair parts to maintain equipment and facilities.
- Measure production efficiency (production rate, downtime, quality, etc.) and assure that key performance metrics are met or exceeded.
- Institute and maintain preventative and predictive maintenance schedules to minimize maintenance costs and downtime.
- Maintain flow of operations by directing the work of employees, and communicating production status, requirements, and problems to related departments.
- Handle all day-to-day supervisory responsibilities for Maintenance Team Members including training, work performance evaluation and disciplinary actions per company policy.
- Generate and understand performance reports.
- Perform time input and other administrative tasks as required
- Take on special assignments as required by management
Education
- High School/GED
- 4 Year Degree or comparable background of work related experience in Maintenance preferred

Position Requirements and Qualifications
- 5 years job related experience
- Three years’ supervisory experience
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance guidelines and programs
- Knowledge of OSHA machine regulations and recommendations
- Experience with machine operation and programming systems
- Self-motivation and ability to work with little direction
- Excellent oral communication and listening skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Outstanding organizational skills
- General computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
