Raytheon Intelligence and Space (RI&S) is seeking a Command and Control (C2) Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join and Lead the C2 Team in support of the Air Operations Center Weapon System (AOC WS) Long-Term Modification and Sustainment (LTM&S) program.
The position is located in Hampton, Virginia, at the US Air Force customer site.
This position requires extensive depth of experience in the stated system with continuing, demonstrated expertise in the C2 systems such as TBMCS, MAAPTK, JADOC, etc.
system including integration into the AOC WS at the scale of a large operations center in a program with global reach.
The successful candidate will serve as the lead of the C2 team in the AOC Production Center (PC).
The C2 lead will be responsible for the development, integration, and maintenance of the C2 systems in the AOC WS.
The C2 Lead will utilize depth of experience to lead a team of approximately 9 engineers to install, integrate, and help test the upgrades to the C2 systems.
This position requires systems experience in systems integration requirements of complex information technology systems and communications systems at the scale of a large operations center in a program with global reach.
The successful candidate will serve as the team lead of small team dedicated to integration of systems directly supporting the AOC Production Center (PC).
The successful candidate will employ effective communication skills in face-to-face interactions with customers and other contractors.
The candidate must be able to work independently, as well as collaborate in a team or working group setting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Engaging with key commercial and government C2 vendors.
Collect, evaluate, and report on system information related to future technologies, development plans, schedules, and other details relevant to AOC WS baseline sustainment planning.
Obtain and analyze product documentation; place documents under data management control in government-provided environments.
Support Working Groups where candidate baseline changes to the AOC WS C2 systems are considered and full baseline lifecycle system engineering requirements are addressed.
Support the maintenance of a prioritized backlog of C2 sustainment projects to account for emerging content and evolving needs.
Analyze proposed C2 variances from the approved baseline for impact of requested program sustainment support.
Provide integration engineering support for fielding efforts.
Participate in planning and analysis efforts relevant to risk and opportunity of the C2 systems.
This is a supervisor / team lead position.
Domestic and international travel may be required but expected travel is less than 10%.
Required Qualifications & Skills:: An active and in-scope SECRET U.S.
security clearance with the ability to obtain a Top Secret/SCI clearance.
Security or CISSP certification.
7 years of C2 system engineering and/or integration experience.
Familiarity with relevant DoD requirements for the various C2 Systems.
Demonstrated understanding of TBMCS, MAAPTK and/or JADOC technologies and systems relevant to the baseline, networking, computing, storage, and virtualization.
System administration of: Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows Server 2008R2, Windows Server 2012R2 and Citrix Xenapp Server v7.6 Advanced troubleshooting skills and experience.
Ability to produce detailed technical documentation.
Ability to work on a team under pressure to meet strict schedule requirements.
Preferred Qualifications & Skills: Detailed understanding of interfaces and configuration requirements of relevant systems for AOC interoperability, including experience in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of one or more of the following: MAAPTK JADOCS IMOM GIANT Combat Track II NCCT PFPS JMPS Working knowledge of capabilities, functions and use of AOC systems/applications such as: VMware tools Microsoft SCCM HBSS (McAfee ePO) Experience with scripting such as PowerShell and VB Script.
Familiarity with DISA STIG compliance.
Familiarity with AGILE and Development Operations (Agile/DevOps) is a bonus.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Required Education (including Major): Bachelors degree (typically in Science, Technology, Engineering Or Math) and eight (8) years of relevant experience, OR Masters degree with six (6) years experience, OR Sixteen (16) years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
