Tax Executive

Highly respected, blue-chip wealth management firm in the Midlands is seeking a top tax professional to join its client service team. Position offers the opportunity to support the firm’s Financial Advisors by serving as the firm’s in-house specialist on income tax planning, following regulatory changes that may impact clients, and creating tax projections for clients. In addition, the successful candidate will transition into a Financial Advisor role and serve as lead advisor for a group of clients. Once the candidate has obtained Certified Financial Planner or CPA/Personal Financial Specialist designation, duties will include creating financial plans for and with clients, assisting in the implementation of such plans, and conducting regular reviews of client plans.

Job Requirements:

Candidates should be a Certified Public Accountant with 5-10 years of tax experience in a public accounting.  CFP, CPA/PFS, or firm commitment to obtain at least one of these designations required.  MBA or JD a plus but no required.  Must function well in team environment, possess high emotional quotient, have strong communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
