Taproom Associates – Virtue Cider

Virtue Cider is located in Fennville, MI on a 48-acre Farm that is home to our cider making operation, our taproom and bottleshop, an array of trails and gardens, and our heritage breed animals.

Virtue Cider Farm is hiring part-time Taproom Associates!  Associates work the bar at Virtue in an elevated service style, with extended knowledge of our cider brands, while being able to uphold an expression of genuine hospitality.  We are looking for people to portray a love for our proper farmhouse ciders, agriculture, and food pairings.  Individuals with high volume experience are preferred, and weekend availability is a must.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• 2+ years serving experience
• Must be legal drinking age
• Warm personality, and intuition for guest interactions
• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to communicate brand knowledge articulately and accurately
• Go getter with team playing attitude
• True providers of hospitality and brand knowledge  
• A displayed ability to represent oneself and the brand appropriately by keeping positivity through high volume shifts
• This position requires the ability to stand and walk (much of it outside) for long periods of time, and lifting of up to 50 lbs 
• Work in a high volume setting will require patience with repetitive motion, attention to cleanliness and detail, efficient use of POS, and premium organizational habits

Qualification:

• Experience in restaurant/retail/customer service preferred
• Special consideration for candidates that also have some kitchen experience
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Able to problem-solve and deal with unique customer situations
