Our location in Kansas City, MO currently has an opportunity for a Systems Analyst III. The Systems Analyst III supports core functions of eScreen proprietary software and systems to enable cost-effective, high quality, efficient systems. This position will implement, administer, and support assigned systems under minimal guidance.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Provide tier-2 support of application incidents reported through the help desk.
Act as a primary resource for system relayed issues and clearly communicate technical concepts in business terms between and across the different groups in the organization while working toward outcomes.
Continually identify areas of opportunity for automation and take part in internal initiatives to implement them.
Actively monitor application usage and growth and ensure appropriate scalability via software, workflow, and infrastructure enhancements.
Collaborate with other Systems Analysts, Database Administration, and end user teams to develop data archive and purge strategies.
Identify system optimization and enhancements and collaborate with other systems analysts in order to design and implement effective solutions
Analyze results, make recommendations for support improvements, and integrate changes into the Help Desk function to improve first call resolution of issues.
Assist in working with teams on Azure Cloud initiatives.
Scripting with PowerShell and database tools.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and/or work-related experience.
Position requires 5 plus years of IT related experience within an information systems operations environment.
5 years of experience with Data Analysis, computer systems analysis, and/or user support.
Working knowledge in Transact-SQL (T-SQL).
Software Development Life Cycle – Knowledge of the process for planning, creating, testing and deploying an information system.
Experience working with Azure in a cloud environment
1 year plus of using PowerShell Scripting
