Systems Analyst

We are currently looking for a Systems Analyst for the below Job description to join our team with one of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Designs enhancements and new business applications and/or information systems solutions through integration of technical and business requirements. Serves as technical designer to identify best solutions and resulting technical specifications within limits of the environment. Links business needs and Architecture definitions to technical solutions. Accountable for build activities within project delivery.

Key Activities:

Prime focus would be leading the solutioning for Workday, SalesForce and other HR and Payroll Systems’ integrations but also would get involved with the other applications we own. Big difference with this role and non-lead role is the independence of responsibility. Non-lead role assists rather than leads.

  • Analyzes business needs and leads the creation of software solutions that meet those needs.
  • Prepares flow charts, business process management (BPM) workflows, and systems diagrams to assist in problem analysis
  • Responsible for preparing design documentation and ensuring that functional and technical documentation meets requirements.
  • Designs, and documents software/solution according to company-IT systems standards, policies, and procedures.
  • Leads necessary testing activities and provide guidance on configuration and coding when needed.
  • Provides technical assistance where needed to ensure timely resolution of incidents or issues.
  • Ensures execution plan is on track and reports any major deviations in budget or timeline
  • Effectively plans and integrates new products with the existing IT landscape
  • Review, guide, troubleshoot and resolve contentious issues escalated during implementation
  • Leads the development of operating procedures and user manuals for transition into routine operations
  • Enable building of knowledge databases for technology, solutions, and domain areas
  • Leads tasks with architecture, application services, infrastructure, release management and other relevant stakeholders to enable a smooth deployment
  • Continuously works on capturing and transferring tacit knowledge to vendors and knowledge management systems
  • Works with outside partners to ensure requirements are met

  • Integration Technologies
    • Middleware tooling – Azure Logic Apps a plus
    • Data Transformation techniques

    • Experience with SOAP and RESTful Web Services
    • Report specification and creation Using application reporting tools
    • Database Technologies (SQL)
  • Application experience:
    • Workday integration experience
    • Salesforce integration experience
  • Cloud focused with deep understanding of SaaS / IaaS / PaaS technologies deployment and support methodologies
  • Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
  • Possess technical skills specific to the systems or applications being supported.
  • Thorough familiarity with the configuration and setup of supported applications

Education/Experience

  • Undergraduate degree and 8-10 years’ relevant experience, or
  • Graduate degree and 6-8 years’ relevant experience.
  • 1-3 years of leadership experience a plus.

Physical Requirement/Work Location (On Site Critical, Partial Virtual, Fully Remote)

  • 100% remote with occasional travel to a business site after Covid Restrictions have been fully lifted.
  • 100% Availability during 8 am 5 pm EST is Mandatory except during personal time off.
