We currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Systems Administrator IV.
Position Summary: The Systems Administrator IV, under the direction of the Manager of Unix Systems and Virtualization, will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining Linux and HP-UX systems, Hyper-Converged Architecture (VxFlex), Virtualization (VmWare), and AWS resources.
The individual will also be responsible for the care, upgrades, patching, and security of the opertating system environment as well as the applications and related packages on those systems.
Responsibilities Responsible for administration and support of EVPS Operating Systems and Application environment.
Trouble shooting and problem resolution of EVPS systems for training, development and production environments.
Provide remote support as needed.
Responsible for administration and support of system security, including access, encryption and security patch management.
Responsible for implementation of software upgrades, upgrades, and other application enhancements as required.
Expert in RHEL (6) and Ubuntu (18) Linux flavors as well as managing them with Ansible.
Expert in VmWare management on VxFlex, VMC, as well as traditional architectures.
Expert in PowerCLI as well as other management and monitoring management.
Expert in writing and maintaining custom scripting with bash, posix shell, perl, python, powercli, etc.
Expert in RHEL Identity management.
Strong working knowledge of MS AD.
Expert in bind DNS.
Strong working knowledge of MS DNS.
Expert in SSL and management with packages and operating systems mentioned.
Expert in NFS/AutoFS.
Expert in RHEL Clustering and HP MC/Service Guard.
Expert in linux systems containerization and management using Kubernetes w/ VmWare Expertise in understanding how to operationalize and automate Linux and Unix systems at scale.
Competent with a proven history of working with HA Storage and Brocade SANs.
Competent with a proven history working Elasticsearch, Tableau, Splunk, Zabbix.
Competent and proven history working with AWS cloud services including Redshift, VMC, IAM, EC2, and S3.
Competent and proven history working with relational databases including Oracle, Postgres, MariaDB, MySQL, MSSQL, and Progress.
Expert in backup and restore methodology as well as DR and HA strategies.
Enthusiastic with working in a team environment with constant knowledge sharing.
Able to document work performed for cross pollination and repeatability.
Able to present and plan projects, problems, and challenges for the area of responsibility.
Research new technologies and make recommendations for applications and software including improvements and best practices for process/procedure improvements.
Respond to requests for technical assistance during the evenings and weekends for emergencies while on call.
Adhere to and comply with information systems security.
Know and follow Information Systems security policies and procedures.
Attend Information Systems security training, when offered.
Report information systems security problems.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Complete special projects as assigned by Manager.
Responsible for adhering to Information Security Policies and ensuring Envision is as secure as possible.

Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from four-year College or University and 8 or more years of related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience Experience with scalable and integrated clinical delivery platforms utilizing load balancing, auto-scaling, and rapid growth Cloud Infrastructure Experience (preferred) Ability to set up, configure, and support internal and/or external networks.
Broad knowledge of Windows and/or Linux Desktop/Server operating systems.
Develop and maintain all systems, applications, security, and network configurations.
Troubleshoot network performance issues.
Create and maintain a disaster recovery plan.
Recommend upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment.
Develop and maintain documentation of systems, applications, and networks.
Provide technical support and guidance to the Support team and users.
Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Rey on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Demonstrate ability to follow through without direct supervision.
Participate in on-call support schedule for 24 hour support structure.
Guide and instruct members of IT on technology, applications, process.
Sometimes lead and direct the work of others.
Demonstrate ability to shift between multiple tasks/projects.
A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills.
Able to communicate effectively with non-technical staff and with members of interdisciplinary teams.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities.
