The Team provides on-site C2 Family of Systems (FoS) technical support at the Combat Command garrison and deployed locations where the C2 System is fielded. Teams located at these sites shall support not only those specific geographical locations, but also all deployment sites within the Combat Command’s Area of Responsibility (AOR) and other Combat Command as needed. Requirement for Operation and Maintenance support is typically 5 days a week for each C2 FoS fielded system.  Work hours in excess of 40 hours per week per person may be required during contingency operations (deployments or exercises), an alternate work schedule may be required to support 24/7 operations.  Typical core hours are 0800 to 1700. Job Responsibilities : Installation of new hardware or software  Creating and managing user accounts Maintaining computer systems such as servers and databases Planning and properly responding to system outages and various other problems  May include light programming or scripting to make the system workflows easier training computer users and assistants. Qualifications Required Education and Experience :Bachelors and two (2) years experience; Masters and zero (0) years experience; four (4) years experience accepted in lieu of degree Required Skills: Experience working in a Linux environment Experience in a Systems Administrator role Security+ certification Required Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a  Secret security clearance.  A minimum of an Interim Secret clearance will be required prior to first day of employment.  Required Travel: Travel required up to 10% of the time. COVID Policy: Prospective and/or new employees are required to adhere with SAIC’s vaccination policy.
