Team Member Title Senior Systems Administrator Location Columbus, Ohio Team Information Technology Team Member Description Full Time Lifestyle Communitiesrsquo (LC) Information Technology team is a shared resource that extends its advice and influence across multiple internal and external touchpoints. From implementers and developers to data analysts and support specialists, this team collaborates with many others to create solutions, processes and applications that impact team members, residents, guests, and clients. The IT team at LC is searching for a skilled team member to support our companyrsquos purpose to bring people together to connect through thoughtful integration of technology and customer experience. In this role, yoursquoll be responsible for server and network management and security. Essential job responsibilities include, but are not limited to Designs, builds and migrates solutions to the cloud across the organization working with various teams. Responsible for Automation, Virtual networkingsecurity and access in AWS Cloud Services. Leads problem and incident resolution facilitating calls with vendors to file bug reports and resolves technical issues. Drives innovations and efficiency through scripting and automation methods. Monitors all system alerts and assists to resolve complex issues in system hardware and software. Leverages and implements automated approaches for systems administration tasks and identifies approaches that leverage our resources and provides economies of scale. Reviews and tests software for accuracy and consistency with documentation, identifying problems and revising documentation and works with vendors and internal customers to deploy and maintain business applications. Serves as an escalation point for issues arising from the Help Desk, communicates outages and maintenance schedules to users, and performs on-call duty for non-business hours support. Leverage the following experience in pursuit of our collective goals Qualified applicants will have achieved an Associatersquos degree in Information Technology or Computer Science. Have at least five (5) years of related experience andor training or an equivalent combination of education and experience Strong Experience with designing, deploying, managing, and configuring server solutions using Windows Active Directory, DFS, DNS, and GPO required. Experience maintaining current messaging systems to include maintenance of current email and application systems in Google Apps necessary. Knowledge of engineering and administration of Linux systems required. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) in an enterprise environment is required. Candidates must have a passion for Information Technology and have strong customer service skills.
