POSITION SUMMARY
The Central Processing Team Leader functions under the supervision of the Central Processing Supervisor and/or Director.
The Team Leader serves as a liaison between Central Service and the Operating Room.
Facilitates continuous communication as it relates to surgical instruments, supplies, implants, and equipment provided through the case cart system to ensure efficient turnovers in the operating room and is responsible for assisting in departmental functions as requested.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Graduate of accredited Surgical Technology
Sterile Processing program Achieved certification through IAHCSMM or CBSPD One year experience in Central Processing required
