Steamboat Ski & Resort will be showcasing some of the finest Americana music and needs some dedicated security help during that time at the Grand Hotel. Must have a valid Drivers License and able to work in inclement weather. This is a Temporary position and successful candidates will be given 1-day lift ticket for every 8 hours worked. Position is NOT eligible for housing. Position pays $20/hour.Detailed job description, including responsibilities, work performed, tools or equipment used, etc.: Patrol hallways in the Steamboat Grand Hotel to maintain quiet hours and safety of guests Responsible for hourly security checks of all Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. properties Respond to fire and or burglar alarms as necessary Will deal with guests and other individuals under varying circumstances Interact and maintain positive relationships with guests, co-workers and management consistent with Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp Service Excellence standards Other duties as assignedMinimum skills, experience, and education required for this job: High school diploma or GED Must be self-motivated to work partially unsupervised during graveyard shift Read and write legibly and comprehend security reports Interact positively with guests, co-workers and tenants Adhere to all safety policiesPhysical Requirements: Must be minimum 18 years of age, 21 or over preferred Bend over, stand and walk for long periods of time often in harsh weather conditions Lift approximately 70 pounds on a recurring basisMiscellaneous information: This is a Temporary position, and is subject to overtime pay Employment for this job is contingent upon the successful completion of a background check Will work overnight shift from 10:30 PM to 6:30 AMHourly Rate:The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporations total compensation package for employees.
