Standards Analyst/SME

**Secure our Nation, Ignite your Future**ManTech is seeking a candidate who possesses experience developing standards and knowledge of the standards development process.

Candidate will be an integral part of a fast-paced systems engineering/technical analysis team that provides support to R and acquisition programs.

As part of the ManTech team, candidate will interface with government program managers to identify areas in which standards are relevant and/or should be developed.

Candidate will work with Standards organizations to develop standards.

Candidate will work with program managers to develop and integrate standards into solutions.

A successful candidate must have: out-of-the-box, critical thinking skills, a proactive, take-initiative attitude, a willingness to learn and challenge the status quo, and ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders and work in teams.**General responsibilities include:**+ Analyzing program documentation to identify areas in which standards are relevant and/or should be developed+ Assisting programs/projects to identify relevant standards and/or develop new standards+ Coordinating with NIST, National Labs, and/or FFRDCs to identify/develop new standards+ Establishing and/or facilitating working groups to develop new standards**Mandatory Skills Requirements:**+ Strong ability and interest in challenging the status quo with better options+ Excellent oral and written communication skills+ Strong analytical and critical thinking skills+ Ability to work under pressure and in fast-paced environments+ Ability to work in dynamic and changing environments+ Comfortable paving new paths, managing resistance, and building consensus+ Self-motivated+ Ability to work in teams**Other Skills Preferred:**+ Knowledge of Department of Homeland Security mission space+ Experience and skills related to systems engineeringFor all positions requiring access to technology/software source code that is subject to export control laws, employment with the company is contingent on either verifying U.S.-person status or obtaining any necessary license.
