Sr. Product Analyst, Supply

Apartment List is one of the largest sources of move-ins for Multi Family rentals.

And while we have grown very quickly over the past few years, your job will be to take our supply side experience to the next level, creating a strategic advantage in our competitive environment.

As the first analyst focused purely on supply, you will partner with your product managers to drive an elevated property & integrations experience.

Come on board to:

• Define KPIs for the supply side of our property experience
• Leverage data from our consumer platform as well as from our integration partners to drive faster decision making
• Investigate what drives success for a property on our platform today, and how do we make them better
• With your stakeholders, you will be responsible for growing the number of properties on our platform, helping them convert renters, and ultimately driving revenue growth.

  You will also keep an eye on the renter experience, working cross-functionally to understand what additional data to provide so our renters can make the right decision for their future home.

To be successful in this role, you: 

• Are willing to get your hands dirty in new, gnarly, ambiguous data sets. 
• Have a successful track record of doing analysis, making recommendations, and implementing those recommendations into the product.
• Comfortable in a dynamic and fast paced environment. 
• Here’s what you’ll do as part of the team:
• Partner with your cross functional team (engineering, PM, and design) to deliver insights and features that support the property journey throughout our platform
• Identify new opportunities that can direct our product roadmap quarter over quarter
• Define instrumentation best practices for your team to ensure that we collect the most relevant and highest quality data 
• Help teams design feature tests and see them through execution and eventual analysis
• Bring in new practices around measuring success in search

Here are the skills and experience you’ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in science, computer science, statistics, economics, mathematics, or similar quantitative discipline
• Strong verbal and presentation communication skills; be able to build the narrative around what you see surfacing in the data
• 5+ years of experience in similar data analytics/scientist roles, with at least 2 focusing on product engagement in a technology company
• Python experience required
• Expert in SQL & data wrangling
• Experience with product instrumentation 
• Experience with real estate data and/or marketplaces is a huge plus
