Our IT Department is looking for an experienced Sr. Business Analyst to collaborate with organizational units to create, implement, and maintain key reports, performance measurements, business solutions and analytical requirements within the company.
The Sr. Business Analyst provides training and guidance to department managers on features and benefits of reports and data provided. Documents requirements, defines scope and objectives, and formulates systems to parallel overall business strategies. Interprets, compiles and presents results using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation to complex data mining in a user-friendly and feature-rich format.
Essential Job Description:
The Sr. Business Analyst determines best practices and develops actionable insights and recommendations for the current business operations. Performs advanced business analysis using various techniques, explanatory and predictive modeling, and data mining. May handle special analytical projects as needed. Works closely with the internal staff to identify analytical requirements. In addition, the Sr. Business Analyst may assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information. Being a Sr. Business Analyst contributes to moderately complex aspects of a project. Work is generally independent and collaborative in nature.
Required qualifications, experience, and skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Finance, or related field
4 -7 yrs. experience as a business analyst is a must
Experience with business analysis tools such as Microsoft Power BI
Experience with a manufacturing environment a plus
Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Excellent relationship management skills with both non-technical business stakeholders and technical team. Ability to work within a collaborative team environment.
Must be able work independently, support several projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
Must have good problem solving skills
