Sr. Agency Trader

Apex Clearing is currently seeking a Agency Trader – Execution Services, responsible for trading on behalf of correspondents and their clients.

You say what you mean, and mean what you say What you’ll do all day: * Receives orders and enters trades into multiple trading systems* Trades stocks, options, bonds and FX electronically, or manually when necessary* Assists clients in the handling of their own errors and trading problems* Serves as liaison between Apex’s clients and the street, communicating with exchanges, trading partners, and vendors continuously* Serves as point of contact for all order and trade related issues in the event of a system outage* Negotiates prices and settlements with other market participants* Research prices, issues and reports findings to appropriate correspondent and/or manager* Responsible for daily reporting on the status of all special handling trades* Works VWAP and other algorithmic orders* Provides operational and trade support to clients* Provides P&S research and reconciliation of trades executed by Apex Clearing Corporation* Responsible for managing and resolving employee and firm errors A few reasons why you might love us: * We’re a leader in the space.
