Technical Analyst will be responsible for ensuring the data integrity of Charter Communications drafting and design platforms to ensure the databases are operational and provides valid and relevant data.
Under limited supervision, manages the performance, scalability and security user access to servers and projects.
Provides technical Bentley V8i support to the Regional and Centralized design teams.
As the Charter Bentley product expert the Sr Technical Analyst develops job aids, technical documents, and contributes to the Charter OSP Design Standards document.
Work closely with GIS/IT departments on data integrity initiatives.
Responsible for assisting with planning, developing and delivering training programs for technical, advanced level drafting and design courses for OSP Design.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience.
Responsible for managing access to National Data Center (NDC) servers, and the projects on those servers.
Providing and creating project setup files and documents for New Projects and Conversion projects by: project creation scripts, domain creation scripts, cell libraries, seed files, specification files for strand, RF and fiber, schemas, and write project definitions.
Responsible for the data integrity of data on each of the projects located in the National Data Centers.
NDC instance workspace cleanup and NDC storage cleanup Provide Tier 1 technical support by responding to escalated or advanced technical support tickets submitted through the FSE Ticket System.
To include fielding all questions related to Bentley V8i/Ed Comms that are not project specific.
Work in Oracle and SQL Developer to write and execute specialized reports from GIS Bentley V8i project data.
Maintain Bentley Ed-Comms workspace compliance and governance Conduct onsite technical support for Charter drafting and design teams.
This includes, but is not limited, mentoring, assessments, specialized EPON, Coax and Fiber training, and producing training videos and documentation on lesson plans, standards, method and procedures, quick tips and job aids.
Assist in developing and publishing value-added reports to accurately measure and drive continuous improvement in areas such as work identification, policy compliance, PM program effectiveness, executive summary training reports and cost capture as it relates to a live GIS environment.
Coordinate training materials, equipment, supplies, IT support, and facilities.
Collaborate with Design Center managers to determine training requirements.
Perform various tasks using ArcGIS geoprocessing tools to enhance and improve GIS workflows for optimization Create all CPV (Comms Power Viewer) files.
Support of Data Migration projects from beginning to end of project Support of Market Areas after Data Migration projects are completed Demonstrate strong knowledge of GIS concepts including spatial reference systems, remote sensing, imagery analysis and GPS, and photogrammetry.
Ensure optimal integrity of reliability-critical databases via regular data reviews, loading, monitoring and reporting.
Lead or assist in identification and execution of continuous improvement in regards to reliability program initiatives.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Skills/Abilities and Knowledge Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
Proficient with the Bentley V8i drafting and design platform, including MicroStation, Bentley Expert Designer, Bentley Fiber module, Bentley Coax module, and Bentley Comms PowerView.
Proficient in the practice of Sequel development.
Proficient in the development/creation of design specifications, fiber specifications, Seed files and the Bentley application schemas.
An understanding of Oracle data bases.
Proficient in Spatial/GIS applications such as MapInfo, ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Server, and Portal for ArcGIS, Python, SQL and/or Google Earth API Must have ability to work closely with other departments and be able to represent all of the Design Departments policies and procedures.
Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Access, Visio and Project applications programs.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of CATV drafting and design standards and other analytical abilities.
Must have an excellent understanding of Charter Communications drafting and symbology standards for Coax and Fiber designs.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Requires excellent analytical, problem solving and trouble-shooting skills.
Expert knowledge in the operation and use of all design applications such as Bentley, MapInfo, OSP Insight, and SpatialNet.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communications.
Proven ability to lead projects and interact professionally with leadership and cross-functional teams.
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusion to apply business analytical trending support of departmental/company goals.
Ability to manually calculate link loss.
Knowledge and demonstrable experience of adult learning techniques.
Advanced presentation skills.
Must be comfortable presenting to groups of varying sizes.
Must be a dependable and self-motivated individual who can work within a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly and effectively.
Education Bachelors degree in either Information Systems or Business or related field or equivalent work experience.

The pay for this position has a minimum of $ 61400.
The actual salary offer may be higher as we carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
