Major Responsibilities: Prepare and reconcile activities related to Federal Reserve reporting on behalf of Pershing LLC as well as submissions of data to our parent, BNY Mellon, in support of their Federal Reserve and SEC filings.
Reports/filings include data submissions related to Basel III RWA, Treasury International Capital (TIC) Reporting, FR Y9c, Call Reporting, LCR/FR 2052a, FDIC Deposit reporting, FR Y-14Q, FR Y-15, Assets Under Custody, etc.
This role requires attention to detail and multi-tasking in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
The individual in this role will work independently to complete his/her workload as well as collaborate within the Regulatory Reporting team and with business partners across the firm.
This role will also provide support for internal and external audits/examinations.
This role will also be required to obtain/prepare complex data for inclusion in regulatory reports, comprehend such data, and analytically review against prior periods and expected outcomes.
Responsible for evaluating day to day tasks and consider adequacy of controls and automation opportunities, prepare ad-hoc reports as needed and participate in special project assignments.
Participate as needed in certain aspects of customer reserve (15c3-3) computations.
Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in a financial discipline such as Accounting or Finance 7 to 10 years stock brokerage and/or bank reporting experience Federal Reserve TIC reporting preferred Knowledge of Bank reporting such as Basel III, FR-Y9C, FFIEC 101, Deposit Reporting, LCR/FR 2052a, FR Y14Q, FR Y15 regulations and instructions preferred 15c3-1 and 15c3-3 knowledge and experience a plus Skills: Strong Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint Experience in preparing and filing financial regulatory reports Effective written and oral communication BNY Mellon is an Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
