We produce investment insights by using machine learning techniques, fundamental company analysis, macro and sell-side research, and quantitative methodologies.nn nn n nn nn Role & Responsibilities nn nnWe are looking to recruit an Associate to join the Data Sourcing & Strategy group within our Market Intelligence Research team. The role consists of supporting the daily responsibilities and operations of the data and research Sourcing group within MI Research.nn nn n nn nn As a Data Sourcing Associate your responsibilities will include: nn Strategy & Data Partnerships Research data ecosystems and opportunities according to Firm research priorities Support team’s effort in identifying, evaluating, and internally introducing new data and research sources Data and Research Provider Relationship Management Facilitate investment professional requests to add, cancel or otherwise change services with providers Ensure internal use of services are following the firm’s contracts and obligations Assist with collecting and maintaining robust catalogue of content providers offerings Stay current on evolving data market and providers’ offerings Internal Relationship Management Assist with daily questions and requests from investment teams Work closely with Data Compliance Assist with new hire on-boarding (determine requirements; coordinate arranging access to content providers, etc.) Coordinate new content provider on-boarding and contract/subscription renewal process Assist with assessing content requirements to ensure proposed services meet our research and/or data needs Negotiate business terms with data and research providers – pricing, access, etc Coordinate contract reviews with Data Compliance Coordinate Data Compliance due diligence review of content providers and products Coordinate internal data and research expense approvals nn n nn nn Desirable Candidates nn Bachelor’s Degree with strong academic performance a must 2-4 years of experience
– preferably with an investment management, consulting, or data/research firm Self-motivated, ambitious, and confident Exposure to contract and pricing negotiations a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills Proactive and dedicated work ethic High attention to detail with high quality standards Strong problem solving ability with ability to think creatively Ability to multi-task and switch gears for frequently shifting priorities Ability to work closely and effectively across multiple business units within the Firm; solid team player Ability to adhere to the highest ethical standards and to work closely with the Firm’s Compliance team nn nn
