Through a respectful, inclusive and collaborative culture, a career at Flex offers the opportunity to make a difference, invest in your career growth and join our purpose — to make great products that create value and improve people’s lives.Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Shipping & Receiving Handler located in Pflugerville, TX.Reporting to the Senior Program Manager, the Shipping & Receiving Handler role involves…What a typical day looks like:* Physical preparation of all shipments.* Receive material and store it correctly using FIFO procedures* Keep accurate filling of receipt and shipping documentation with correct lot trace ability tags.* Keep and file receiving documents* Keep and maintain tracking of shipping containers and update ERP with tracking info.* Perform accurate month end inventories* Responsible for loading shipments and retrieving signatures from carriers.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:* Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees.* Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Demonstrates advanced functional skills. Demonstrates detailed functional knowledge and may lead process. Has awareness of new techniques.* As a skilled specialist, completes tasks in creative and effective ways.* Ability to achieve and maintain Online Lithium battery shipment certification.* Advance knowledge of Custom regulations and standards. Complete all required documentation for Shipping and or Receiving.
