The duties in this position include food service, side work, sanitizing and cleaning dining room and kitchen food service areas, room service deliveries, opening and closing, and assisting in other dining/kitchen duties as assigned and in accordance with company policies and procedures.Essential Job DutiesGreet and seat dinersTake written food orders, serve meals, bus tablesRoom service delivery Track resident attendance at mealsSide workOpening set up and closing clean upNon-Essential Job DutiesMinimize waste and misuse of supplies and equipmentDeal professionally at all times with personnel, residents, family members, and guests Promote a positive and friendly team work attitude in the execution of all dutiesPerform other duties as assigned by supervisor, Director of Dining, Executive Director and/or designeeRequirementsAge over 18 years or have proper work permit and authorization documentationBackground clearances as required by government regulationsComplete a health screening and provide negative TB test resultsExperience in restaurant or food services operations preferredServe safe certificate preferredPhysical DemandsMust be mobile and able to transport dishes and utensilsAble to stand for long periods of time and bendMust be able to lift and push 50 poundsMBK Senior Living is a dynamic, growing company that opened its first senior living community in 2004.
